Commercial Wine Racks New Orleans Louisiana Slidell — Bistro PeekThe Bistro de la Reine is one of our favorite construction projects with eye-catching commercial wine racks, and we are really pleased to be able to feature it here.  Incorporating a range of kit and custom commercial wine racks along with specially designed wine cabinets in their wine store, this Bistro is one of the nicest places to go for an entertaining evening in Louisiana.

Elegant Commercial Wine Racks Perfect for a Wine Store 

New Orleans is renowned for its unique culinary heritage, encompassing Creole, Cajun, and French influences. Slidell, being near New Orleans, often features restaurants that offer dishes influenced by this rich culinary tradition.

Located not far from New Orleans in a place called Slidell this Wine Bar and Wine Store features a family-friendly environment with a piano live entertainment bar as well as a craft beer bar. They offer specialty drinks, over 20 wines, and locally brewed beers along with excellent Creole-style Cuisine in the Bistro and over 700 fine wines to choose from in the wine store. It was a pleasure to design and see this commercial store custom wine cellar job come to fruition.

Commercial Wine Racks: Features that Make the Wine Displays Stand Out

Commercial wine racks for dining establishments should be chosen carefully to meet both functional and aesthetic needs. Ultimately, the ideal commercial wine rack for a dining establishment depends on various factors, including space, interior design, desired wine presentation, and storage needs. Finding a balance between functionality, aesthetics, and practicality is key when selecting wine racks for a dining establishment. Consulting with wine rack specialists or interior designers can also provide valuable insights tailored to specific restaurant needs.

For this project, we designed wine racking all the way around the perimeter of the store as well as a custom cash wrap counter. The center floor area includes a Commercial Double Reveal Aisle Wine Display Kit Wine Racks and what we call Commercial Aisle Rounds. Design Commercial Wine Racks | Wine Stores Increase RevenuesWe combined kit wine racks as well as specially designed custom wine racks to create a unique look at a very cost-effective level. The installation included custom cabinets with adjustable shelving and lower cabinetry doors as well as several commercial retail display stackers. Where appropriate the racks have 4″ toe kicks and base moldings and 2.25″ crown moldings which makes the racks all look custom-built and professionally finished.

One of the particularly special features of this job is a reclaimed wine barrel tabletop for the cash wrap area. We included real wine barrels cut in half to each end of the counter creating a very unique and stylized look. The wine racks themselves were all constructed in premium redwood with a “rustic” stain and a lacquer finish.

An additional and interesting special feature in the wine store design is a set of wine lockers. These are spaces that are rented to Bistro de la Reine’s regular restaurant customers who leave their purchased wines there to drink when they are dining at the Bistro.

Custom areas include the cash wrap, the lockers, the magnum wine racks below the lockers, and the shelves behind the cash wrap. All the other racks are a combination of commercial, traditional, and stackable kit racks. The lockers are spaces that are rented to Bistro de la Reine’s regular restaurant customers who leave their purchased wines there to drink when they are dining at the Bistro.
